For a year, Kyryl’s father bravely defended Ukraine on the battlefield until his life was taken by Russian forces near Avdiivka in the Donetsk region. When the family received the devastating news, Kyryl’s mother was in the hospital, leaving him to face his grief alone.
This tragedy left a deep mark on Kyryl’s life. His mother is doing everything she can to help her son heal and rebuild his life. To cope with the loss, the family sought support from a psychologist, and with time, Kyryl began to recover. However, even now, when the topic of his father comes up, tears fill Kyryl’s eyes.
