On June 1, the Run for Children of Heroes charity race took place in 20 cities around the world. It was organized by the Children of Heroes Fund, the Ukrainian Running Club, and local partners. Two more cities – Odessa and Vienna – joined on June 7.
Thanks to the participants, corporate donors, and supporters, €27,038 was raised. These funds will be used to support our key programs: psychological assistance, education, socialization, medical services, humanitarian aid, and case management.

Together - for the future of the children of Heroes
Bear Crews turned kilometers into donations
This year, special virtual participants joined the race – bears. Each solo participant could choose their Bear Crew when registering: Choco, Jelly, or Plush. Those who didn’t run could still support their favorite bears with a donation – every dollar added 1 km to the crew’s total.
We calculated the distance covered and the amount raised by each virtual crew:
It’s like the distance from Paris to Geneva!
It’s like 182 Mount Fujis stacked one on another!
It’s like swimming all the way around Crete!
The Jelly Bear Crew turned out to be the participants’ and fans’ favorite. But most importantly, all the crews did something truly meaningful – they helped children in need. We sincerely thank everyone who took part – whether you ran, donated, or helped spread the word. You raised funds while showing that doing good can be both impactful and joyful.
Follow the Fund’s updates – more exciting initiatives to support the children of Heroes are on the way.
