The Fund was established on April 28, 2023, following the start of Russia’s war against Ukraine. Our mission is to help children who have lost one or both parents due to the war by providing them with the immediate and long-term support they need throughout their childhood. Our programs include humanitarian and emergency aid, psychological care and therapy, crisis management, legal assistance, educational support, as well as access to essential resources like food and warm clothing when needed.

No, the Fund is committed to providing long-term assistance, supporting each child until they reach adulthood in all aspects of life.

Children of Heroes is a registered charitable organization in the Netherlands:
The Stichting Children of Heroes of Ukraine is recognized as an ANBI organization, which means that contributions to the Fund are tax-deductible for donors located in the Netherlands. Tax relief may also apply across the EU for charitable donations.
If you reside in an EU country and donate to a charity registered in another EU country, you might be able to claim tax benefits. However, tax deductions for donations to Stichting Children of Heroes of Ukraine cannot be guaranteed, as they depend on your country’s national tax laws.

Donations can be made through our website. We accept VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, PayPal, Google Pay and Apple Pay. Alternatively, we do also accept wire transfers (please see section Donate for payment details). Please email us at info_nl@childrenheroes.org if you have any questions about making a donation.
Our platform charges a fee to our Foundation as the recipient of the funds, not to our donors. While making your gift you may also choose to help cover these fees so that more of your gift will be directed towards our mission. Your bank may also set its own transactional fees, depending on your method of giving.
We accept humanitarian aid only from organizations that can provide it centrally. At this point in time we cannot accept individual donations of non-monetary goods from the general public as our Foundation is not a humanitarian agency.

З перших днів повномасштабного вторгнення Юрій пішов добровольцем на фронт. На жаль, чоловік загинув під Бахмутом. Ця трагедія стала справжнім ударом для його дружини Галини та двох донечок — 13-річної Таїсії та 11-річної Іринки. Емоційний стан донечок був вкрай нестабільним: вони закрились в собі.
Від фонду «Діти Героїв» сімʼя Найдухів отримала можливість поїхати до табору «Воловець» у Карпатах. Це табір психоемоційної стабілізації для сімей, що постраждали від війни. З перших днів у таборі розпочались позитивні зміни. Вони ходили в гори, малювали, співали, купалися в чанах. Галина каже, що вона вперше після трагедії добре спала. А дівчата, які категорично відмовлялись йти до психолога, після табору самі висловили бажання розпочати роботу з фахівцем!
