On January 30, the German-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ANK Ukraine) hosted an event in Kyiv, with the Children of Heroes Charity Fund* as a social partner. The event brought together representatives of business, the public sector, and diplomatic circles to discuss the challenges and opportunities for Ukraine’s recovery.
The Fund’s* CEO Global Tetiana Novytska, addressed the participants with a speech in which she emphasized the challenges faced by the beneficiaries of the Children of Heroes Charity Fund* and shared the story of 11-year-old Ania from Odesa Oblast, who was orphaned after a missile attack on her hometown. She emphasized that the Fund* provides children with material assistance and works on their emotional and psychological rehabilitation.
“Systemic support for children who have lost their parents due to the war is an investment in the future of Ukraine and Europe. Providing them with access to quality education, psychological rehabilitation, and social integration is possible only through the joint efforts of the state, business, and public sectors. It is our shared responsibility to create conditions in which these children can realize their potential. That is why it is important that the international community does not stand aside but actively joins initiatives aimed at their development and recovery,” said Tetyana Novytska, CEO Global of the Children of Heroes Charity Fund*.
As a social partner of the event, the Children of Heroes CF* drew attention to the problem of children who lost their parents as a result of the war and was able to attract organizations willing to contribute to their development.
